As an avid reader, I was more than excited when I was given the opportunity to review a brand new book. On its arrival, I immediately made a coffee and sat in my chair to start to read. I finished the same last night and loved it.
The book is called Subject Verb Object and is an eclectic collection of short stories from new authors who live worldwide.
18 authors have been gathered together in this interesting book. Each writer in this anthology, provided a short prompt which came in the form of a Subject, a Verb and an Object. These prompts were then distributed between the authors and each wrote a short story containing the same.
Examples of these prompts are :- “Jay pulled at the Mirror” “The dead man ignored her warning” and “He swallowed the World” to name just three of the 18.
It was interesting to see how each writer used the prompt and the stories that came from the same. Stories are based in the past, the present and the future. Many of them leave you wanting more from the author, some leave you thinking about what will happen next, others make you think about how the sentence prompt was utilised in such a clever way,
So if you want to know what is behind Jay’s Mirror, how The Bretheren saved Humanity or what happened at the Wedding then this is the book that you need to purchase. It can be downloaded or bought as a hard copy.
The book is available here at Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Subject-Verb-Object-Anthology-Writing/dp/1545425868/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1499845187&sr=8-1&keywords=subject+verb+object
This would make a super present for someone you know who likes reading or even a copy for yourself. You will love it.
